Nov 8 is National STEM Day, and talkSTEM invites ALL educators and students to participate by sharing their STEM mindsets. Held annually on November 8th, National STEM Day unites communities in celebrating the importance of teaching and learning science, technology, engineering, and math to students in pre-K – 12. talkSTEM is a leader in fostering STEM mindsets in diverse populations and whose completely free platform supports learning wherever it takes place. We want everyone to think on national STEM Day about their personalized STEM in their places and activities from parks to playgrounds, from dance to drumming! We believe that everyone is a STEM person and that every place is a STEM place!
We want to make it a day to share YOUR STEM mindset! From pre-K through high school, and for students, parents, educators, families, and classrooms of all sorts – in and out of school – all are welcome. It’s a walk in the park to do, literally!

✔ 3
Select one question from your list, and think about the STEM aspects of it.
✔ 4
✔ 5
Consider a few ways to respond to your question, and look at what ideas other people offer when replying to you!
We are also inviting you to be a talkSTEM Ambassador and share your math & STEM walks with us ANYTIME from Nov. 8 onward. Your videos will grow our community’s portfolio of real life-based and inquiry-based STEM moments that talkSTEM teacher fellows and all other educators can use to engage their students.
