About Allyson:
Allyson is responsible for all educational programming at the 8-acre, 64 million dollars Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden, school outreach and summer camps, as well as adult programming. The arboretum served over 122,000 students in academic programming in 2015, most of whom were at-risk students. She is focused on creating new programming to reflect the current trends in science and STEM education. Previously she was Science Department Chair at the Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School in Atlanta where she taught Environmental Science, AP Biology, and other science courses.
